Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare 1st U.K. pressing of Renaissance – Renaissance on the PINK ISLAND label with the white “i” logo, label, cat. no. ILPS 9114.
The record is in VG+++ condition, there are only a few non-sounding hairlines and a non-sounding line on the first track of side one. The labels are in EX minus condition, there are a couple spindle marks only.
The cover is in VG+++ condition, besides the normal handling and storage wear, there is a rubbing spot on the back of approx 7 by 0.5 centimetres (see also the photo) and there is also some very faint ring wear coming through, also on the back. Besides these small imperfections, there is nothing wrong with the cover, no large writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
This is a very rare 1st U.K. pressing of Renaissance debut album on the PINK ISLAND label. Do not underestimate the rarity of this record. Most copies of this album will you’ll find are on the Pink Rim Island label, because a couple month after the release of this album, Island Records changed their label design. This is your chance to complete your Renaissance or PINK ISLAND label collection.

Shipping & Payment: I will ship to customers worldwide (except Russia, due to too many problems with Russian bidders, sorry for all buyers with good intentions) and accept prefer payments by a bank transfer, but I also accept payments by PayPal or contact me when you want to pay with another method. Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 15.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
