RARE German limited edition pressing of The Remo Four`s album "Smile!" on Star Club/Line Records (1967). Originally issued in 1967, this is copy no.1291 of the limited-edition German re-issue on white vinyl (1986).
"I saw the Remo Four several times when I lived in Germany in 1966/67 and was lucky enough to get an original vinyl copy of Smile. The production of the record was incredible then (recorded in Germany) and still sounds amazing today. As a live band, the Remo Four were one of the best acts I have ever seen and I am not waxing nostalgic here; it's simply a fact. I have heard them play all the songs on Smile live and they stretched some of the songs without ever becoming self-indulgent. They also played a superb version of Cannonball Adderley's 'Mercy Mercy Mercy', a tune I wish they had recorded." - Amazon customer review by Colin Rusch (2004).

- Small area of laminate peel on front cover, from sticker removal (at top left). Please note that this is not a tear!
- Otherwise, the cover is in perfect condition.
MINT(-) RECORD with no signs of previous play.
- Perfect vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- Star Club/Line Records labels with no visible spindle wear at all.
- The label of Side One has an undamaged, but slightly darkened area from sticker removal (at top).
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "4.00196 A Hi" and "4.00196 B Hi".
- This record is certified to be an original limited-edition German pressing of "Smile!", released in 1986.
