Description

Offering is original owner’s Coral Records, 1st Stereo Pressing (1963), CRL 757426 “Coral Stereo”, 33-1/3 RPM LP, black vinyl record. Specific descriptions:

·        Album Cover / Sleeve – CONDITION: EXCELLENT. The original plastic wrapping remains on approximately 45% of the front cover and 100% of the back cover, including the spine. Because of the plastic wrapping still being in place, there are no stains, age toning, markings or discoloration on either the front or back covers. There are no seam splits or tears. The front cover has retained all its original, rich and radiant colors. The red lettered “AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME” white label located in the right lower corner of the front cover is pristine, adding to the collectability of the this first pressing, stereo LP release.

·        Vinyl – CONDITION: VG+. Seldom played, the LP’s vinyl playing surfaces are clean and bright with one (1) 1.5” minimal light hairline on Side 1. There are no scruffs or scratches. The vinyl has a very nice gloss. The maroon and silver “Coral Stereo” labels are in very good condition with no spindle wear, scratches or discoloration.

·        Coral Records Promotional Inner Paper Jacket / Sleeve – CONDITION: VG. This vintage, collectible 12” x 12” promotional paper sleeve is in VG CONDITION. Its green and white colors, and black lettering, have remained rich and clean. It has no stains, markings or discolorations. It includes a promotional mini photo of the front cover of Coral LP “The Buddy Holly Story”, CRL 57279. The paper sleeve has one (1) 7” seam tear on its upper front, left side (see photo no. 18).
