For the ultimate REM collector this is probably the Holy Grail

the very rare  7" vinyl single, radio free europe b/w sitting still, on the  Hib-Tone Records label.

There is no Hib-Tone address on the label, so this is a first pressing, one of only between 600/1000

pressed depending which source you read.

Hib-Tone Records HT 0001 released 1981

According to Wikipedia around 600 copies of the first pressing were sent out for promotional uses.



Sleeve: picture sleeve is VG+ with very little wear, very light age fading and a couple of minor light creases. Seams all intact.

These paper sleeves were very flimsy.

Labels: are VG++ clean and unmarked

Vinyl:  VG++ with some light scratches

Both sides play perfectly well.   Etchings in the dead wax are
HT-0001 RADIO FREE EUROPE O.K. ? MASTERFONICS and SITTING STILL HT-1001 MASTERFONICS
