Rare! The first record from REM! Radio Free Europe b/w Siting Still, on Hib-Tone Records. The one that started it all,
and one of the rarest R.E.M. collectibles.
This is the pressing with the address on the label.
Becoming more scarce every year.
Destined to be one of rocks great collectible records. Produced in 1981 at Mitch Easter's Drive In Studio by Mitch Easter & R.E.M.
In 2010 The Library of Congress added R.E.M.’s debut single
"Radio Free Europe", one of the cornerstones of ’80s college rock,
to its National Recording Registry, honoring the landmark song as
"culturally, historically or aesthetically significant."
Vinyl is in very good condition, looks really nice, clean/shiny.
Has one very light scuff/mark about one inch long on the
Radio Free Europe side. I have played it through
and the mark has no affect. The record sounds great!
Labels are very good, clean with very minimal wear.
Picture sleeve is very good with very light/moderate
ring wear and yellowing. No rips, tears, tape or splits. Overall, terrific condition for being 34 years old!
