Description

R.E.M. - Radio Free Europe / Sitting Still 7".  This is the very first release from legendary American rock band R.E.M.,released on Hib-Tone in 1981.  Hib-Tone did two pressings of this single, and this is a TRUE ORIGINAL, without the Hib-Tone address printed on the labels.  The total pressing size is unclear but the consensus seems to be somewhere between 500 - 1000 copies of this edition were made before they re-pressed it with the alternate labels.  This is an ULTRA RARE piece of indie rock history!!!
The vinyl looks excellent.  A few very slight scuff marks can be seen but it has been tested and both sides play absolutely perfectly.  The sleeve is fully intact with no seam splits or tears, just a little bit of shelf wear and faint creasing can be seen.  Overall, we think it looks great.  This has been stored in a protected plastic sleeve for most of its life.
