Description
I've had this one from new since its release in 1991 but it's been in my loft along with my turntable and the rest of my vinyl collection (see other items for sale) for the past 10 years so its time to let it go to a new home.
This is a real collectors item at a bargain BIN price if other eBay comparators are good estimates of value.
The cover is in excellent condition though in a certain light there are numerous feint impressions on the front as though some one has been testing a pen on paper resting on the cover. However, these are really not noticeable unless you go out of your way to look for them.
The original picture/info sheet inner dustcover is there and in perfect condition.
On visual inspection, the vinyl has no surface marks and I do not anticipate any playback problems. However, I haven't had time to play the album before listing. I will do so ASAP and revise the listing accordingly.
Without wishing to enter into an interminable debate about the aural benefits of unsampled, analogue vinyl recordings over sampled and compressed digital media, I do suggest that there is an additional pleasurable dimension to the handling of vinyl records as well an appreciation of the larger artwork on LP album covers and the experience of listening to the album as a whole work as the artist/producer intended. You just don't seem to get that with a CD and definitely not with MP3's or streaming individual tracks.
The album will be dispatched in a Defendapack Music Max mailer bulked out with bubble wrap where necessary to prevent internal movement and damage in transit. These mailers hold up to three LP's and only cost £2.80 Royal Mail 2nd Class or £3.30 Royal Mail 1st Class (both UK only) so you can make some really serious postage savings with multiple contemporaneous purchases.

NB As there is now a bid on this eBay will not allow me to revise the original item description. Suffice to say I have now played all tracks, both sides, from start to finish and all played perfectly. A really good listen. "Near Wild Heaven" a personal favourite!
