Description

Up for auction is a clean original copy of the R.E.M. EP "Chronic Town" originally released on I.R.S. Records (70502) in 1982.

-Guaranteed original First Pressing
-STERLING stamp in run-out matrix
-Still in original opened factory shrink wrap
-I.R.S. sticker on shrink
-Original I.R.S. poly inner sleeve
-From my personal collection

Condition:
The cover has been preserved nicely by the original opened shrink wrap with no significant signs of wear, just some very light rub on open corners and a tiny chip on open edge.  Still very nice, hard to upgrade.  Grade: Excellent Plus (EX+).

The vinyl is also in very nice condition, still has its original shiny gloss.  Side One has a very faint, superficial small scuff that does NOT affect quality of play, which is excellent.  Side Two looks clean, unmarked.  This copy has been in my personal collection for 35 years, played maybe once or twice, handled carefully, then archived.  Nice copy.  Grade: Excellent (EX).
