Here is the legendary Border Guards E.P. from Sunderland Punk band RED ALERT. It has been well loved and it doesn’t have a picture cover. Legend has it that not all of these were issued with picture sleeves; and the sleeves that were issued were piss-poor Xerox copies on poor quality paper. I know of four people who have this, two from new, and none has a picture sleeve.

Please read the description and look at the photos. This should give a comprehensive indication of the condition of the item. I try not to over-grade. There’s nothing to hide; see my feedback.

The vinyl has been well loved. It has scratches and surface marks. I have tried to capture the flaws by taking pictures both with flash (very unforgiving) and without flash (more 'lifelike'). See the photos; there’s nothing to hide. Apart from crackling on the run-in and run-out grooves, it plays OK with no skipping, no sticking etc. The music is loud, fast and powerful, so any static crackles etc. can’t be heard above the furious music. However, because it is not mint I am offering it as a collection-filler with a low start price, despite there being only a few hundred ever pressed. Yer pays yer money...
