One of a nice collection of audiophile Classical & Jazz rarities we have just had in, a great selection all listed this week.
1990s Classic audiophile issue of Stokowski conducts the RCA Victor Symphony: Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No.2, Enesco Roumanian Rhapsody No.1 op.11, Smetana The Moldau, The Bartered Bride. I have heard the Alto and prefer this.
Highly collectable release from audiophile label, Classic Records. This title was mastered by Classic Records at Half Speed from the original source master tapes. An all-analog, tube amplification process was used at every step. Classic Records used a proprietary vinyl that guaranteed virtually no surface noise and sonically superior dynamics.
Classic Records pride themselves for releasing each album with the original artwork, LP labels and any other materials which were included with original pressings.
LSC 2471 Stokowski Rhapsodies. One of the very best sounding of the RCA Living Stereo records. This one is on HP's TAS list because it sounds fantastic, with greater dynamics than an original shaded dog because of the superior cutting lathe, the half speed and the quieter vinyl. My heavens what a soundscape in the Smetana. I would keep all these if I could afford to.
This is pristine near mint and completely free of surface marks, has clean labels and the sleeve is Near Mint also, no warps and in the original anti stat sleeve.
