Hello, and thanks for looking. Please see our other auctions for more sought after books and Vinyl oddities and rarities!
Also, please take a look at the feedback pages for all of our eBay user profiles where you will find nearly 400 individual testaments to the quality of our service: eboy_noho1 (click here) ; eboy_noho2 (click here) ; and eboy_noho3 (under construction).
The Specifics of this auction are as follows:
This is a peculiar piece of recording industry memorabilia from the RCA Victor company. It is a souvenir collection of RCA's great recordings up to 1956 which was given out at the shareholder's (I think) meeting in Miami in 1956. It's a boxed set of eight 45 rpm 7" EP's featuring notable highlights from RCA recordings up to 1956, including Elvis Presley, The Dorseys, Artie Shaw, Toscanini, Perez Prado, Enrico Caruso, Glenn Miller, and others.
The discs are marked "not for sale", and I assume they were for in-house or shareholder use and consumption only.
The discs are in fabulous shape, and look seldom if ever played. The box is a bit rougher with rubbed edges and back, with some of the gold color rubbed off. The hinge is brittle and starting to crack through, but is still intact.
If you have questions about this or any of our other auction, PLEASE ASK! eboy_noho@verizon.net.
Thanks for looking!
We are an eBay seller specializing in art, vintage furniture, Music and "Paper" items, and most any other sort of collectable / rarity / oddity. Regardless of the item however, we thoroughly research, describe, and document everything we list, and describe and assess the condition of all items conservatively, with pertinent notation. Any prospective bidder should take a look at the feedback pages for all of our eBay user profiles: eboy_noho1, eboy_noho2, and eboy_noho3 (under construction), and bid with confidence, as hundreds of other satisfied eBayers have done over the past 4 years. Thanks for looking and good luck!

However we do hope that a quick review of our feedback pages will reassure any potential bidder of our integrity and conscientiousness as a seller in general.
We try to always research our items thoroughly, and extensively document them both verbally and/or photographically in our listings, so that prospective buyers can make informed decisions about bidding. When we are short on knowledge for any particular item, or just plain misinformed (unfortunately it has happened), we always appreciate supplementary information / corrections from more informed eBayers, and try to include that in our listings.
The images in each listing should give bidders a general idea of the appearance and quality of an item. None of the images has been altered in any way, and the images you see in each listing depict the actual item being auctioned unless noted otherwise.
The condition and the history of an item are obviously very important factors in determining the quality and desirablity of an item. Where photos do not speak for themselves, we describe and grade items conservatively. If you have questions about anything, PLEASE ASK!
We will do our best to answer all questions, but please try to leave ample time before the auction s end to allow a reply.
Shipping / Packing: Back to Top For all items except comics and LP's, please see the item description for shipping details and costs. In most cases, buyers will pay actual shipping costs plus a small upcharge for packing/handling. We will not gouge you on shipping.
We will pack everything securely with quality packing materials and methods. This however does not preclude damage in every case. Insurance is recommended on all packages, as we cannot be responsible for any items damaged (or lost) in the mail. All buyers should purchase insurance (if available) for their security. If your uninsured package is lost/broken in the mail, we would feel terrible, but you would not get a refund. If an insured package is lost/broken, the buyer will collect on the insurance. We will provide buyer with insurance documentation to enable the buyer to collect.
FOR LP's and Comics:
We ship worldwide!
Inside the USA you have a choice of Priority or Media Mail/1st Class (whichever is cheaper):
$5.50 or $2.50 respectively
I will ship up to 3 LP's and 6 Comics(domestically) for these rates. Add $1 each LP thereafter, and 50c for each Comic thereafter. *In lots of more than 10, shipping costs may not follow these rules (usually to the buyer's benefit).
International rates are higher, USUALLY $12 per LP for airmail, and $6 per for surface mail.
We pack everything we ship in a secure manner with NEW custom LP mailers, comic bags and boards and other quality packing materials. *In quantities larger than 10, we may NOT use new bags and boards for comics, and may not bag and board at all.
Payment: Back to Top We will contact the winning bidder of each auction via email or send an invoice within 24 hours of the auction's end. Do not use any sort of "checkout" procedure, or attempt to pay before we contact you.
We accept payment in the form of Cashier s Checks, Money Orders, Western Union BidPay, or CASH via secured mail. All payment must be in U.S. currency. We do not accept personal checks.
We reserve th right to relist items if no contact can be made with the winner within 7 days.
Refunds / Returns: Back to Top Our refund policy differs from item to item. In general, we will absolutely give full refunds INCLUDING the buyer s initial shipping costs in any case of factual mistakes, oversight, or accidental misrepresentation on our part. The buyer however must first return the item to us fully intact. No refund will be given for postal damage during shipment to, or returning from buyer (see SHIPPING/PACKING).
Refunds will not be given on the basis of subjective disagreements over the grading of an item. If we are not well versed in the grading of a particular type of item, we will let the images and facts we are sure of speak for themselves, and withhold as much as possible the subjective assessment of quality.
Note that certain items are sold as is with no returns / refunds. If this is the case it will be stated in the item description.
Vinyl Grading: Back to Top For all items except VINYL, please see the listing text for grading / condition information.
VINYL GRADING SYSTEM: We grade Records conservatively based on a system of 1-10 with pertinent notation. All grading is visual unless otherwise noted:
[10] is unopened and untouched.
[9] vinyl appears to be unplayed. Cover might show slight signs of handling.
[8] has a few light marks on lustreous vinyl which are assumed to produce little or no noise (visual inspection only). Cover has some signs of handling and/or age and maybe a mild version of one or two of the defects listed under 6 below.
[7] will show several light marks or scuffs or scratches, some of which will produce intermittent noise which may or may not be heard thru the music (visual inspection). Cover shows a few mild symptoms of the defects listed under 6 below.
[6] shows some general wear on vinyl including some loss of lustre and scuffs and light scratching. It is assumed that some of these marks will produce noise which can be heard thru the music. Overall this is still an enjoyable play. Cover will show some of the following: edge wear, small seam splits, ring wear, bent corners, creases, graphic blemishes.
[5] will show general scuffing and scratching on vinyl, with noise almost throughout yet playable (I will play grade these). Cover shows many aggravated symptoms of the defects listed under 6 above. 5 is the lowest I will sell for LP's, and only in cases of special interest or rarity. I WILL sell 45's in this condition and less.
