RCA Victor STEREO FOR THE JOY OF IT Popular LSP-9301

Up for purchase we have the 1959 issue of "Stereo For The Joy Of It (Popular)"

This 10 LP set bears the RCA Victor number LSP-9301.  It includes an attached 16-page booklet which gives a description of each of the records included and a history of the development of Stereo.  The record sleeves are reprints of the actual original album covers for each record.

The 10 records included in the set are as follows:

• LSP-1753 - Other Worlds Other Sounds (Esquivel & His Orchestra)
• LSP-1854 - Fancy Meeting You Here (Bing Crosby & Rosemary Clooney)
• LSP-1882 - The King Plays Some Aces (Xavier Cugat and His Orchestra)
• LSP-1680 - Destination Moon (Ames Brothers)
• LSP-1866 - Music For Bang, baa-room and Harp (Dick Schory's New Percussion Ensemble)
• LSP-1734 - Having a Ball (The Three Suns)
• LSC-2231 - On Stage With Robert Shaw (The Robert Shaw Chorale)
• LSP-1678 - Something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue (The New Glenn Miller Orchestra)
• LSP-1971 - Saturday Night With Mr. C. (Perry Como)
• LSP-1000 - Music For Dining (The Melachrino Strings & Orchestra)

I would grade the records as EX with a few showing a couple very light scratches or scuffs but many are scratch-free.  The cover is in good condition showing mold spotting on the spine and on the back and inside cover.  The pages show warping due to moisture acquired during storage.  All pages and album sleeves are well attached.  All records have original wax paper sleeves.
