Description
This auction in for a large lot of RCA Victor Red Seal 45rpm records. The records are from the early 1950's. I am not a professional record dealer, but I would say the records are in good condition with some minor scratches here and there.
I am also including 4 vintage record boxes. They are in good condition with typical edge wear. All hinges are intact.
There are a total of 34 records, featuring some of the world's premiere pianists from the middle of the 20th century. They are as follows:
Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 2 with Artur Rubinstein (complete on 5 records)
Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor” with Vladimir Horowitz (complete on 4 records)
Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1 with Alexander Brailowsky (complete on 4 records)
Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 2 with Artur Rubinstein (complete on 4 records)
Grieg: Piano Concerto in A Minor with Artur Rubinstein (complete on 3 records)
Chopin: Polonaise in A-flat, Op. 53, No. 6 with Jose Iturbi (complete on 1 record)
Arthur Whittemore & Jack Lowe, duo-pianists (6 records)
The First Piano Quartet (6 records)
Jose Iturbi plays Rachmaninoff & Paderewski (1 record)
This is an excellent addition to any collection of Red Seal records!
