RCA SF8215: TONY OXLEY QUARTET/SEXTET/SOLO PERCUSSION 'Ichnos'
UK jazz rarity from 1971, this is another highly rated album by Oxley. The drummer/percussionist leads an all-star group completed by\Kenny Wheeler (tp/fl-h), Paul Rutherford (tb), Evan Parker (ss/ts), Derek Bailey (g) and Barry Guy (b). This is an UK 1st RCA stereo pressing with orange/black printing and white logo label. As far as I know there was no mono issue of this disc.
Side 1 'Crossing'/'Oryane'
Side 2 'Eiroc/Santrel'/'Cadilla'
CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is EtoE+ (VG+toVG++) with some very light scratches/scuffs only and a small amount of light, general groove wear, visible under a bright 'grading' light. There is also some surface dirt. This disc would benefit from being cleaned. The cover is E (VG+), with some edge creasing, very minor corner damage and some surface rubbing/scratching/shadowing. There is surface dirt/staining, particularly visible on the back.
