Description
This is the bigee-the Royal Ballet Gala conducted by Ansermet. The 2 records are 4s/1s/1s/1s stampers. Overall, I would say the condition is a strong vg+ or a weak vg++. There several visual scratches that do not feel or sound but only 2 or 3 that are audible and they are not deep or long-very mild. There are several air bubbles that are audible but only 2 are upsetting. They cause a skip on my table but not on the friend's who owns the records (he has a Linn/Graham 2.2/ Grado Reference Master). They are in the first band of Coppelia. There is also a bit of "RCA (or London) grunge" as my friends and I call it-a constant noise that is on many RCAs and Londons. It's not bad-it's just there. Also, there is a bit of congestion in some sections. I don't know if it's wear or a worn stamper. My system is pretty unforgiving(I have a Benz LP/ SME5/VPI TNT just to give a reference point). I don't want to overstate the flaws but this is a big set so I do want a happy buyer. Box and booklet are also vg+/vg++. No tears just a bit shopworn in appearance.
