This is the second recording (1962) that Munch made of the Fantastique in Boston. In fact, it was his final recording with the BSO. Oddly, it is much harder to find on CD these days that the 1954 recording, though to my ears this later one has vastly superior recorded sound. The final two movements are sensational!
