Very Rare original Gounod Faust/Bizet Carmen L.P. Royal Opera House Orchestra,Covent Garden,Alexander Gibson,Conductor.RCA Living Stereo LSC-2449, Shaded Dog Label.stampers-side 1-L2 Ry2148-3s side 2- L2 Ry2148-6s I believe the "L" prefix designate 1960 as the press date making this an original copy of this record.Record is in almost near mint condition,no scratches that are visable.very shiny surface.It doesn't even have any spindle marks, looks unplayed to me.Cover is in very good ++++++ condition,I hesitate to use the term near mint about a records cover because not many are near mint from the factory,but this one is close.Vivid color,with no ring wear.No splits,no stains,no mold,no water damage,no writing,corners are crisp,not bent.spine is 100% intact with all writing.the only issue is just a very small(1/8 inch)tear on the lower opening edge of the cover- thats it.Very close to a perfect copy.I feel it would be awfully hard to find a better example.Any questions please ask.I try to describe my items honestly,to the best of my abilities but will be sold as is,It will be exactly I described.I know what is expected from a record like this,I won't sell junk,this is an exceptional copy.
