Description
LABEL: RCA Victor Living Stereo
CATALOG #: LSC-2423.
TITLE: FESTIVAL.
CONDUCTOR: Fritz Reiner
PERFORMERS: Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
COMPOSERS & WORKS: Kabalevsky Colas Breugnon Overture; Tchaikovsky Marche Slav; Borodin Prince Igor Act III Polovski March; Mussorgsky A Night on Bare Mountain; Tchaikovsky Marche Miniature; and Glinka Russlan and Ludmilla Overture.
CONDITION: VG++ to EX lp. Stamped 1S/1S There are a couple of light fingerprints which will clean up fine. I do not fake condition by pre-cleaning. I have pictured the surface at an angle to pick up what appears to be a vinyl on vinyl rub. There are several of these that do not affect play. The inner shaded dog label is lightly worn at edges indicating likely stack play or wear from the sleeve. They are, however, imperfections and I grade hard. G+ jacket. All four corners show wear as pictured with an abrasion/tear to the back cover. Lettering is centered until the bottom edge. Original jacket starting to split as pictured. Front cover is lightly worn to the surface. Has old adhesive sticker on back with a price of $2.70 with writing indicating some sort of catalog number.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Shaded dog lp labels, 1S/1S 1st pressings. Sterero LP. Pressed at the Indianapolis plant (“I”). Released 1960. This record is on the TAS List (The Audiophile Sound’s list of best audiophile classical recordings).
If you have a specific way you want it packed or shipped, please inquire before purchase. I can handle most things but I just don't know what you may want. If you are a "mint" person, please pass on this one. It's simply not mint on the cheap.
I have about 3000 more albums to roll out so stop back once in awhile and take a look. I am fine tuning my listings to make sure of a 5 for 5 feedback. Questions are welcome. Thank you.
