Royal Ballet Gala Performances — Ernest Asnermet • Original, not the Classic reissue
Descriptive Details Title The Royal Ballet Gala Performances
Ernest Asnermet conducts the Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covet Garden Catalog# RCA LD 6065 — 2 mono LPs in fancy Soria Edition
W/booklet & program (pictured) that's sometimes missing from these issues Label Original shaded dog pressings — A1 1S/1S; A1 3S/1S Stampers Condition On a grading scale where NM is as good as it gets (factory pristine), the LPs play during quiet passages between VG and VG+ condition, and sometimes better. For the majority of louder passages, and there are many, these LPs play NM-. The fancy Soria case is in EX condition. (NOTE: Use of a mono cartridge, or if using a stereo cartridge summing the cartridge's output with an inexpensive connector from Radio Shack, likely improves the play grade.) Info This is not the reissue issued by Classic Records, this is the original RCA issue. This could be the most realistic sounding classical music recording ever, easily reproducing the ebb & flow and effortless changes in dynamics that one only hears live in a concert hall. Thrilling music with extended frequency response, real bite to the brass, realistic air presence in the woodwinds, and a spacious 3D-like soundstage. If you want to know what the fuss is about, it is quite evident on this album set. Although not a perfect copy, this is a reasonably good copy of an exceptional almost impossible-to-find album. LP Grading, Payment & Shipping Terms, Etc. Grading Descriptions Read more regarding the grading used to describe the condition of LPs. Payment Payment in U.S. funds via BidPay, cashier's check, bank check, money order, or personal check. Payment via BidPay (www.bidpay.com) required for orders outside the USA. Payment Terms Buyer must contact the Seller within 3 days after the auction closes and payment must be received by the Seller within 10 days after the auction closes, or else seller reserves the right to cancel the auction and ebay may file an unpaid bidder action. Acquiring LPs and creating ads takes a lot of time & expense, so please be a responsible bidder. Shipping Records ship in robust mailers designed to transport LPs. Shipment for 1 standard sized LP in the 48 continental states via Media Mail is $4.70, which includes the cost of shipping materials. LPs weighing 180 grams or greater, gatefold covers, box sets, & multiple LPs will likely increase this fee. Shipment via Priority Mail, which some feel incurs less mischief while in transit, is available within the USA as an extra cost option. Payments must clear prior to shipment. Reduce Shipping Costs Will ship multiple auction wins from any current auction in one package whenever possible. If interested in auctions closing on different dates, please email your intent to bid on other auctions prior to the closing date of your initial auction win. Doing so prevents needlessly performing laborious tasks, such as invoicing, required to finalize an auction win. Eliminating these time-intensive tasks enables passing savings on to you. Insurance Purchasing insurance is optional though recommended as the Seller is not responsible should the post office damage or misplace a package. Although the Seller will assist in filing an insurance claim, the Seller cannot provide refunds for lost or damaged shipments as any such occurrence is the fault of the shipper not the Seller. Feedback Policy Our transaction will be a positive experience. Once you're satisfied, please leave feedback. In turn, Seller will leave feedback which will close his responsibilities and our current transaction.
