  Title:  Ray Brown & Laurindo Almeida-Moonlight Serenade

Original german pressing from 1981 on JETON 100 3315.Audiophile record featuring just a doublebass and an acoustic guitar,recorded Direct-To-Disc at Tonstudio Bauer by Carlos Albrecht(cutting by Henry Riedel).Gatefoldcover with photos and infos inside.Nice set of jazz,classical and latin music for the “late night moonlight” mood!Tracks:1.Mondscheinsonate / Round About Midnight  2.Samba De Angry  3.Beautiful Love 4.Air on a "G" String  5.Malaguena 6.Blue Sky 7. Condition:the record shows some papersleeve- and a few hairlines,visually ex(-);there are a lot of silent moments due to the duo line-up,unfortunately this makes you hear these tiny lines:side 1 plays in vg(+),you will hear some crackling behind the music from time to time on most of the tracks,side 2 plays much better in ex with just occasional low crackling.The cover shows some creasing/wear on the edges and corners(pl.see pictures);all seams and spines are intact but show rubbing,overall ex-/vg+.Not for the mint-collector,but a still enjoyable original starter-copy.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.Cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve(japanese pressings in NAGAOKA!)
