Hi,
This auction is for a very rare 3xLP set on the Basta label, Raymond Scott - Manhattan Research Incorporated.
All three LP's and Gatefold Jackets are in excellent condition. VG+++ all around. Always kept in plastic sleeves and in a box from an old box set. The jackets are excellent with no major wear of any kind. The records have been played only a few times each and are excellent and VG+++. Records one and three have a few very light surface marks that will not affect play outside of a possible light or brief pop or click here or there. Nothing overpowering, distracting or constant.
Raymond Scott's music is maybe most famous now, for being used for the soundtrack for Ren & Stimpy adventures. But he cut his teeth doing weirdo ear catching radio adverts. Odd and always intersting background music and soun effects. He was an early proponent of music created using sounds on tape. Music Concrete. Jazz, Electronics and Odds sounds combine to create a incredible listening experience.
