Description

RAY NOBLE -Blue danube 9 inch 78 rpm Bones'n'ribs X-RAY roentgen film "roentgenizdat" late 1940s-1950s record with ribs and lungs image
made of roentgen film attached to cardboard base.

One of my valuable buyers, Medicine Doctor, explained the image:
"I can't see the whole thing, but the blob in the center is the heart, and around the outsides, there is an extensive abnormality throughout the lungs. It could be pneumonia, tuberculosis, cancer. Hard to say. It is a very sick patient. "

VG condition
I played record, it plays fine.

Records like this were popular underground source for songs of prohibited but extremely popular russian performers like Lescheko or Vertinsky, underground criminal folklore songs, foreign jazz & pop music and later rock'n'roll in Soviet Union. It was dangerous business, people get prisoned for manufacturing of them!
