Description

I am parting with some of my treasured LPs.  Here's a US STEREO pressing of SOUL MEETING by the amazing Ray Charles and Milt Jackson. ATLANTIC SD1360.  The colors on front cover are vibrant and beautiful.  The back cover is the original perfect shade of white.  No discoloration.  There dings to the 2 top corners. Perfectly stored flat and gorgeous.  It's not easy to tell the exact pressing without seeing the labels, but I believe this to be a 5th or 6th pressing from 1974 because it has the BMI Rights on the back by track listings.
Ray met Milt more than halfway here, showing off his jazz chops on keys.  Milt, a quarter of The Modern Jazz Quartet, and the best vibraphonist around shows what he's capable of on this beautiful LP.  A cool listen.


I love original pressings because I feel every LP is of it's time and place.
