One of his "Northern Soul" offerings, here's a very nice 1966 UK original first issue copy of this classic tune from RAY CHARLES with "I DON'T NEED NO DOCTOR" on the UK HMV imprint # POP 1566 and backed with "PLEASE SAY YOU'RE FOOLING".
This copy plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in a strong excellent plus condition (playing as mint minus) with light surface sleeve rubs and the odd feint hairline scratch not affecting play and with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. It has the 4-prong centre intact and the labels are clean on both sides apart from the feintest trace of WOL on both sides in the form of a name on the 'A' side and a number on the 'B' side visible under a strong light and with light spindle wear but still a top copy for the DJ or collector. Paired with an original company sleeve (see picture scans).
The record has been play graded and is from my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check out my other listings for more great sounds.
