Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Very rare 1970 first pressing in bice silver & blue laminated cover = issued, as far as we can tell, only in France and Germany ... Gotta be the rarest Lp by this famed British Bluesrock crew ... only the second copy we've recently had and the other sold seemingly in a minute at a record show that we were selling at last year...
Liverpudlian Aynsley Dunbar had played with The Mojos, John Mayall and Jeff Beck prior to forming his own blues-based band in 1967. An early version of the band comprised Dunbar, Peter Green, Jack Bruce and Rod Stewart recording a song called Stone Crazy for Blue Horizon but it was not issued at the time. It appeared several years later on History Of British Blues along with Cobwebs, the flip of their first 45.
The early Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation albums are strong UK blues-boom records. "Blue Whale" veered more towards progressive rock with lots of involved jamming. It includes four long tracks written by the band's vocalist Paul Williams (ex-Juicy Lucy) and is highlighted by a great version of Frank Zappa's Willie The Pimp. Another highlight: "It's Your Turn."

The vinyl is all glossy clean and glowing MINT over both sides...best copy you could hope for...the labels being mint too...
