- The mega rare -- DEEP SOUL FUNK 45 -- by THE BROTHERS SEVEN (with MINNIE and THE MAN) with the tracks EVIL WAYS (SANTANA) + THEM CHANGES (BUDDY MILES)!!
- 1969 to 1970 release on small regional label GOOD LUCK RECORDS (008; TEMPLE, TEXAS, USA).
- GOOD LUCK RECORDS was the sister label to BUENA SUERTE RECORDS started by LITTLE JOE/JOHNNY HERNANDEZ/ROCKY HERNANDEZ of the LATINAIRES/LA FAMILIA.
- EVIL WAYS has been comped on several releases including TEXAS FUNK: BLACK GOLD FROM THE LONE STAR STATE 1968-1975 (JAZZMAN RECORDS) and WILL QUANTIC PRESENTS THE WORLD'S RAREST FUNK 45s (SIXTEEN HEAVY-WEIGHT SUPER-TOUGH DEEP-FUNK ULTRA-RARITIES) (JAZZMAN RECORDS).
- The vinyl's playing surface is visually a strong VG- on the EVIL WAYS side (shiny wax but with 3 notable scuffings as well as some minor scuff markings here and there -- see photo 3 -- track plays OUTSTANDING with the scuffs NOT affecting anything -- see clip!)
- The vinyl's playing surface is visually VG+ on the THEM CHANGES side (shiny wax but with faint scuff lines, scuff markings, and such -- track plays SUPERBLY -- see clip!).
- About the disc: There is a centimeter-long thin crack in the dead wax area between the music and the labels which does NOT affect anything (see photo 4).
- The labels are mispressed with each label appearing on the wrong side; the EVIL WAYS label is a super strong VG+ (with a red pen mark, otherwise a strong EXCELLENT!); the THEM CHANGES label is VG+.
- Listen to a SUPER-EXTENDED clip of each side taken from the actual disc -- one of the STRONGEST PLAYING COPIES to ever appear on eBay!
