(with Original 'Torso' Cover)

This copy also has the original and very rare recalled 'Torso' lp cover. When the album was first issued, the main back cover photo (taken at an Exploding Plastic Inevitable performance) featured an image of actor Eric Emerson projected upside-down on the wall behind the band. Emerson threatened to sue over this unauthorized use of his image, unless he was paid. Rather than complying, MGM recalled copies of the album and halted its distribution until Emerson's image could be airbrushed from the photo on subsequent pressings. Copies that had already been printed were sold with a large black sticker covering the actor's image. The image was restored for the 1996 CD reissue.
Condition is good, The cover has surface wear from being stored against other records. Tear in middle of binding (see inside pic). Inner paper sleeve missing. There are just a few very light, inaudible surface marks that look like they are from sliding the record in and out of the sleeve.

After reading/researching the Condition Grading on records, this is a VG+. Especially the actual record, it have NO deep scratches, it wasn't played much... and NO damage to middle label. The Jacket has just normal storage wear and the split in the middle crease when opened (see picture). There is a inner sleeve that is not the original, I put one in it for extra protection. I just want to be clear on the condition.
Very Good Plus (VG+): A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that don't affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. LP inner sleeves will have some slight ring wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP jacket may also have slight signs of wear and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount. In general, if not for a couple minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable. A synonym used by some collectors and dealers for "Very Good Plus" is "Excellent."
