Description
Five Chances - Gloria/ Sugar Lips, States Records S-156 1956. Very scarce original 1956 Doo-wop 45 on the US States label. the a-side (Gloria) is a lovely harmonised doo-wop number, the b-side (Sugar Lips) also being a nice doo-wop track. Visually this is in a strong ex condition, with one dimple welt in the wax of the a-side, yet plays with a 'fuzzy crackle', for want of a better description, behind the a-side which in all honesty sounds worse than it is and is only really audible over the track on the piano solo near the end, and a light crackle and pops at the start of the b-side with the odd feint crackle in the background at times but otherwise playing fine. Happy to combine postage at cost.
