Includes Pink Floyds' first recording - Intersteller Overdrive - pre dating their EMI contract.
This is the soundtrack LP from the Peter Whitehead 1967 documentary film.
Pink Floyd - or The Pink Floyd - as they were called in the albums' sleeve notes, were commissioned by Peter Whithead to record music for his film. This led to their first (pre EMI) studio recordings, produced by Joe Boyd in Sound Techniques Studios.
Also featured: early Vashti Bunyon song - Winter Is Blue.
Condition: Vinyl and Labels are excellent (brief click on intro to Paint It Black) Sleeve - Non laminated, shows ring wear, scuffs, creases, price label outline and wear to edges. The records' catalogue number is inked in (faint) pen on the top right corner of the back cover. (see photo).
Tonite Lets All Make Love In London (a title taken from Allen Ginsberg's poem) is a very hard to find LP on the original Instant Records label (a subsidiary label to Andrew Oldham's Immediate Records).
This documentary soundtrack album is a mixture of interviews and music.
The LP begins with Intersteller Overdrive followed by Michael Caine/ The Changing of The Guard (Marquess Of Kensington)/Night Time Girl(Twice As Much)/Out Of Time(Chris Farlowe)/Edna O'Brien.
