RARE and sought ages old 'TMOQ' collectible from Los Angeles March 7, 1970 Olympic Auditorium with Sugarcane Harris, Ian Underwood, Jeff Simmons, Aynsley Dunbar and Mr. Zappa ....After Frank Zappa broke up the Mothers of Invention, he recorded and performed under his own name before re-forming the group. This release documents an evening at Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, with Zappa leading a sensational quintet. The music includes smoking versions of "Sharleena" and "Directly from My Heart to You"(though the vocals are a tad distant), plus the world premiere of "Twinkle Tits," a sizzling instrumental jam that incorporates the main theme from "Little House I Use to Live In," and a long but never dull exploration of "Chunga's Revenge." Zappa's guitar playing is superb, as is the blistering blues violin of Don "Sugar Cane" Harris, who was only with Zappa briefly and not featured with him on any other live recordings.

The Vinyl: rated: strong VG++, few visible light scuffs, vastly clear otherwise, play graded VERY enjoyable or same as sounded upon first day release back in the '70s of last century -- with no more than pretty much the audio quality genre from which item originates...TMOQ produced PIG LOGO labels...have sticker pull light damage but nothing alarming
