ROLLING STONES The Stones Are Rolling Very Scarce and becoming increasingly harder to find genuine Original Extremely RARE 1967 South African unboxed dark red and silver Decca label STEREO vinyl LP issue of 'Their Satanic Majesties Request' album, which has an exclusive single pocket front laminated picture sleeve as well as the re-branded title! - 'The Stones Are Rolling' is used prominently on the front of the sleeve design and is also used on the back of the sleeve and the spine rather than the 'Their Satanic Majesties Request' is unique to this item. A unique Stones collectable and very much sought after - see 'more info' for further details including condition TXS103

PLAY GRADED: VISUAL GRADING

Equipment used to test this LP was my Townshend Rock II turntable positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform, with a Linn Ittok modified arm and Audio Technica VM95ML Shibata modified cartridge feeding through a Trilogy 906 phono stage positioned on a Townshend Seismic Sink. Amplification is a Lavardin IS amp positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform. Speakers are bi-wired Nordost Blue Heaven Rev II Speaker Cable Impluse H6's positioned on Townshend Seismic Isolation Bars.

The LP was played through its entirety and surface noise was heard through the entire playback, some track were more noticeable than others. The sound was very thing which probably due to the South African pressing. The sound overall I would grade as GOOD+ but due to the rarity of this LP it still has life in the grooves until a higher graded copy turns up.

Please note that this is a used item and there is always isolated static, ticks, light pops that maybe or can be heard, even in the quieter places during the play of any vinyl. There will be elements of surface noise. Please remember that this is an Original 57 year old LP. I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played.

THE COVER: The laminated single pocket cover shows very light minimal wear to the top and bottom edges. The surface has visible light storage scuffing. The spine exhibits very light minimal wear with creasing. The spines text is still visible and legible. All 4 corners show very light wear only with no age related rounding. The opening edge has visible fethering. Otherwise there are no signs of any other forms of damage. I have graded the cover in VERY GOOD+ condition.

THE BACK COVER: The back mirrors the front in condition, there are no other signs of any damage which can be seen. I have graded the back cover in VERY GOOD+ condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE: Antistatic inner sleeve

THE VINYL: Both sides of this vinyl LP still retains all of their original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight look awesome. Placed under a 100w bulb there are hairline and very light scuff marks to either side when held under a strong light. There are no scratches which can been seen or felt. I have graded this LP in VERY GOOD+ condition.

Side 1 in VERY GOOD+ condition. Side 2 in VERY GOOD+ condition.

THE LABELS: The labels are in VERY GOOD+ condition showing light spidery spindle marks around the central spindle.
