Description

For sale is the test pressing for John Steiner's label SD, SD-507 with Red Nichols on Cornet, Vic Engle on drums and Jack Gardner on piano. The released version of SD-507 has "Cheerful Little Earful" on side A and "I've Got a Woman" on Side B. This test pressing has a tentative take of cheerful little earful on one side with some talking and a complete "Smoke gets in your eyes" on the other that was never released. Record is in E- condition and plays great. This record was recorded by John Steiner in 1948 and pressed at Bishop pressing in California. John Steiner ended up buying what was left of the famous Paramount Records and revived the company briefly with some releases starting in the late 40's.Matrix 63044-1B "Cheerful Little Earful"Matrix 63044-5B "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes"This is a very rare one of a kind record.Shipping is $6 in the USA
