Description
RARE: Sonobeat 105 Lavender Hill Express 45 Psych Garage
Buyer refused to pay, so I'm relisting this record. Please don't bid if you don't intend to pay. Bad karma.
I am offering a very rare copy of the Lavender Hill Express "Watch Out" /
"County Music’s Here to Stay", produced by Bill Josey.
R-s 105 / 1968
Austin, Texas, psych outfit the Lavender Hill Express formed in 1966.
The founding lineup teamed former Baby Cakes guitarists Layton
DePenning and Leonard Arnold with Wig bassist Jess Yaryan and drummer Rusty
Wier, along with keyboardist John Schwertner, formerly of the Reasons Why.
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BID: "Watch Out" (the psych side) is in *VERY GOOD CONDITION.
The flipside,("Country Music’s Here to Stay") is in **GOOD CONDITION, with various surface marks.
Both sides play all the way through, however "Country Music's..." has quite a bit of noise (as you will hear in the clip).
KNOW THIS CONDITION AND LISTEN TO SOUND CLIPS BEFORE YOU BID!
Label has writing on both sides.
If you aren't familiar with Goldmine record grading please read the following BEFORE YOU BID:
*When played, a Very Good record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages
and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise won’t overpower the music otherwise.
**A Good record plays through without skipping, but it has significant surface noise and groove wear.
