Description
James Brown "Try Me!" KING Records #635 Mono 1959. Very rare original pressing. The cover shows a woman holding a smoking gun and also holding a cigarette. The label has "KING" at the top only two inches wide. Very hard to find. Books for up to $1600.00 in some guides. The record is still shiny. Each side has a few scattered scratches but they are mostly small and light. A couple on each side can barely be felt. Played pretty well on my equipment with some noise but not bad. The cover is fair. Split along both the top and bottom edges. Taped with clear tape on the opening corners. Some ringwear and surface wear. Heavy in the lower right third. Some yellowing and spotting near the spine and in the bottom left corner. Some staining and yellowing on the back. Some mold spotting. (It may have gotten wet a bit on the back). Ringwear here with some small surface tears. Yellowing. Some photos/ads for other King LPs shown here. The cover isn`t great but it IS very hard to find. (In ANY condition). HIGHLY collectible.
