US Mono White Label Promo LP – Kapp Records KL-1562
Decca / Pinckneyville Pressing (“2” etched in runouts)
Offered here is an original 1968 US mono white label promo / radio station copy of Silver Apples, pressed at Decca’s Pinckneyville plant. This is the true mono promo variant, identifiable by the 1-inch press ring, “2” etched in the runouts, and KL-1562 catalog number on the labels (KS-3562 on the sleeve). These mono promo copies are considerably scarcer than standard stock stereo pressings.
