Brother Ahh LP Sound Awareness Strata East SES-19731 With Brother Ahh aka Robert Northern on French Horn & flute) Barbara Burton, Pat Dixon (cello), Barbara Grant (sporano voice) Howard Johnson (tuba), M'boom Re:percussion Ensemble. The plan was for this album to be first in the "Sound Awareness Series" produced by Brother Ahh, who had been in Sun Ra's Arkestra. Liner notes by noted drummer Max Roach. The only song on side A, "Beyond Yourself" lasts over 22 minutes. Side B's one song lasts 16 minutes. Stereo pressing.Graphic design & layout by Asili. (!) So reads the liner notes: "A special thanks to Sun Ra."
DISC - NM: We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No visible scratches, skips, visible needle wear, warping, or abrasions on playing surface or dead wax. Just two or three flecks & some fainter than faint shadow scuffs. Disc surface shows very nice gloss. Record is stored in a protective plastic inner sleeve.
COVER - VG: In admirable enough condition: No seam splits, stains, tears, writing, stickers or color fading. Light to medium ring wear & surface rubbing, but no paper fraying. Two of the corner bangs are fraying. 90% of the spine print is readable. Crinkly edge wear along the top edge. Deep unfaded sharp clear color. Grooved label looks really great: No blemishes with rich color, sharp print & sharp-cut hole with no spindle scuffs. Disc stored in a plastic, non-abrasive inner sleeve. "SES 19731" & "5/4" or "S/N" in dead wax.
