PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. 1970 first pressing of the mighty "DIES IRAE"...the first release by FORMULA 3 who were, at the time, Italy's leading psychedeic group, here's why:
"Dies Irae" is filled with a dark atmosphere, and as the drums beat slowly, a crushing wave of guitar & organ joins in with such amazing force, you'll recall something, a sound straight out of the first Black Sabbath album -- an intense otherworldly heavy here, a superb slice of doomy psychedelia. Put it this way, if you like heavy guitar chords & leads and wild pumping Hammond organ, ''Dies Irae'' will please you... an awful lot! A legendary album.... The groups varied mixes of moody visonary psychedelic and popsike grooves hold the listener throughout both sides. The album is quite different from the usual Italian offerings that flooded progressive scene in the early '70s, combining sledgehammer underground-60's styles amid melodic rock phasing. Check out their take on Left Banke's classic "Walk Away Rene" you'll get the idea as they turn the song inside out delivering a brooding heaviness riding on gushing Hammond organ. Elsewhere are tunes with infectious melodies, highlighted by harmony vocals, pulsating bass & harsh drumming and winning Hammond & guitar combinations.Overall, If ever you are into psychedelia, or heavy prog "Dies Irae" is an album that you'll need to own... Incidentally, the guitarist Alberto Radius made a monster $$$-rated solo album a couple years later (circa 1972) filled with flipped out distortion guitar leads.Dies irae (7:39)

CONDITION: The cover: The very fragile European cover is in GREAT shape, rated M- with fresh original colors, no delete marks, no bends, no writing and no split seams ... TOP collection worthy appearance ...
The vinyl: Too bad the record has been played a lot, rendering the visual VG- grade...while there are no jumps or skips, there is surface crackle throughout, but, since so much of the album is "heavy" you don't notice much in the background ...so plays accordingly, even enjoyable with the thought of not having to shell out the three figures$$$ the LP commands on the collectors market ... both 'Numero Uno' labels are clean
