Description

Up for Auction at No Reserve: ca.1981, Out of Print Mobile Fidelity MFSL 1-510 Audiophile Pressing of Sir George Solti conducting Holst "The Planets". Originally recorded in 1978 in London's Kingsway Hall, Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs produced a Half-Speed Master Audiophile Lp around 1981. It was, to put it mildly, a sensation. Music critics who were already were enamored by Solti's original release, gave it another listen and could not believe they were listening to the same performance! Of course we audiophiles were not surprised....we expected as much from the folks at MFSL.

You can no longer purchase a Brand New copy of this Lp from Mobile Fidelity..it's been out of print for well over twenty years. BUT I have my own MINT GRADE copy, played only once while it was recorded onto reel and then put away all these years.

This is a must for all Solti fans as well as die-hard audiophiles. You Will Not Be Disappointed!
