Description
Welcome to ELC Audio Engineering. I'm reserving evenings for vinyl records (LP, EP, 45, etc.) as well as other media (CDs, DVDs, books). Nearly all of the LPs to be listed were purchased USED during my stint with the USAF (80s and 90s); consequently, they're largely ORIGINAL or early releases. Regarding record grading: My evaluation of a record's condition takes surface noise and play-ability into account. I do not use the so-called "record grading" method unless a record is in mint (or mint-) condition; otherwise, it's a subjective call. More details regarding grading below* (so we can jump to the listing)...
If something isn't clear, please ask before you bid. Please read the description carefully so you know exactly what you are bidding on.
This listing is for a rare, SEALED (!) Limited Edition, 180-gram heavyweight audiophile 2X vinyl pressing of the ELVIS PRESLEY album "ELVIS RECORDED LIVE ON STAGE IN MEMPHIS" (2013 remastered, Follow That Dream Records 82876 60987-2). You can see in photos that this is a limited edition DMM Copper Mastering by Abbey Road Studios, issued under license from RCA / Sony Music Entertainment. Album is sealed, and therefore in MINT condition. Although shipping shows media rate, I will ship via USPS Priority Mail with insurance (you only pay for media rate; I'll cover the rest). I'm not hiding anything here--please ask if you have questions. As for record "grading", refer to the first paragraph and below*. Records are shipped in new, high-quality mailers with added cardboard stiffeners.

*More on record grading: A record without visible scratches, if played with a worn or defective stylus, can sound far worse than a record with visible defects. This makes grading a tough call unless a record is truly new or untouched. I don't mess with records beyond those in my personal collection, which have been in storage for years (fortunately, air conditioned storage for Arizona!). In many instances, I'm not the original owner, but take good care of records regardless of their previous condition. For every record listed, I used MoFi's "Super Deep Cleaner" or Audio Intelligent's "Premium One-Step Formula 6", followed by MoFi's "Pure Record Rinse". My record-cleaning/ vacuum system is a new Record Doctor unit. I play all records to test for skips or gross defects. If there are defects beyond slight surface noise, I'll clearly say so. My cartridge, a brand new Audio Technica AT-OC9XML (at $600+) is quite revealing, particularly when played through top-of-the-line Sennheiser headphones. Many of the records being listed sound quite good, but certainly not new. All in all, I just avoid giving a records a "grade" unless I can state with confidence that an LP is mint (which is the case for albums I purchased new).
The condition of a record's sleeve should be apparent from the photos, noting I take all original photos. Nothing is borrowed unless I cite an image's source; otherwise, it's flat-out plagiarism (noting other sellers have used MY original photos). In the future, I might upload snippets of recordings of the actual LP being listed (not something taken from another source) so viewers/listeners can hear the grooves (literally) for themselves. Even new records, if not properly stored, can have gross surface noise.
With very few exceptions, I do not accept returns. Read [2] for further details regarding this policy. Nothing in this listing is misleading--check my feedback as a seller [3]. Many thanks for keeping eBay a positive buying and selling experience!
As stated above, I do not use stock photos or canned descriptions. What you see in my photos is exactly what you're bidding on. I do not "borrow" from other sellers, nor do I use eBay's database. If sellers aren't using their own photos, then you really don't know what you're buying. *Note: Photos of record care and record-playing equipment can also be seen in editions of The Audio Link (these are fair game because I'm the author).
Shipping: eBay does NOT automatically adjust for the shipping cost of combined items. If items can be combined into a single shipment, please request an invoice so I can combine items to save you money. I charge for actual shipping only (meaning no added fees) using eBay's shipping calculator. International bidders MUST use eBay's International shipping service. Records are shipped in a new, high-quality mailers with added cardboard stiffeners. Please read [1] for additional shipping info.
Reminder: International buyers must choose eBay's International Shipping Service. Thank you for viewing!
[1] I pack items with great care--the same way I'd like to receive a delicate or valuable item. Like other sellers, I do not have control over shipping costs or carrier delivery time. Small- and medium-sized items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Larger parcels will be shipped via FedEx Home or FedEx Ground. Unlike Jeff B, neither eBay nor I operate our own shipping services--this means no "prime" or overnight shipping (although I ship some items for free depending on size).
[2] Why I no longer accept returns: In a few unfortunate incidences, bidders with buyer's remorse had intentionally damaged perfectly good equipment in order to receive a refund. In other instances, buyers were simply incompetent: Equipment was damaged because these buyers did not know how to properly use or handle it; yet, they wanted refunds because of the damage they had caused. Bottom line: No returns! If the wrong item is shipped, or if their is a gross oversight on my part (I have yet to do either of these), I will promptly refund or exchange an item and pay for return shipping. Please understand what you're buying is USED unless it's clearly stated as new.
[3] I'm batting 100% positive feedback after nearly two decades of buying and selling on eBay*. I kindly leave positive feedback for those who do the same. Prior to my current username, I had over 1500 combined selling and buying reviews with 100% positive feedback. *(I changed my username since starting on eBay in order to reflect my current business.)
I do not entertain best offers, nor do I end auctions early. Item will be sold to the high bidder (heck, a single bidder might get a fantastic deal). Items not paid for after 72 hours will be re-listed.
