Description

RARE 1st German Pressing! ROXY MUSIC "STREET LIFE" with the previously unreleased "HULA-KULA" 7-Inch 45 RPM Single with picture sleeve! Fantastic 1st French pressing, 1973, Island Records (6138 037)
Exhilarating hit single from Roxy Music's third album ("Stranded") is backed by "Hula-Kula," which is an instrumental composed by guitarist Phil Manzanera that was not available elsewhere upon release.
Absolutely remarkable fourth album by the highly influential British band, Roxy Music, led by the extraordinary visionary, Bryan Ferry, and backed with a band that David Bowie affirmatively proclaimed the true inspiration of Bristih music.
This band once included keyboards and sound machine maestro Brian Eno, but was strongly propelled by the piercing guitar work of Phil Manzanera (one of Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmore's favorite guitarist); the powerful rim-shots of drummer Paul Thompson; the quirky saxophone heaves of Andy MacKay, and the graceful lines of Eddie Jobson's strings and keyboards--a musical force of nature navigated by the distinctive vocal stylizations of Mr. Bryan Ferry.
This is a brilliant album by a brilliant band that has been lauded by John Lennon, David Bowie, David Gilmore, Roger Waters, Dream Theatre, Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed, John Cale, and countless others.
STRONG EXCELLENT Vinyl Condition!!! EXCELLENT Picture Sleeve Condition!!! Only the slightest evidence of minor creasing.

And remember: When you buy from me, you are buying the VERY best!
