This is a very rare factory sample of this LP - pressed in the UK for export - I can find no record of a previous sale for this particular pressing/label combination, ...... this is one for serious Stones collectors. The record has been cleaned and play checked. Playback for most of the record grades as VG, maybe VG+ to some extent with light surface noise and occasional tics, but it has some heavy feelable scratches on the final track on side two that causes many skips - hence the low grade.
The record's playing surface has several superficial scuffs and fine lines indicating this has had a lot of use. There is a non-feelable scratch on side one, track three, which create a few quiet underlying tics. Side two has a 3 mm nick on track three which doesn't make much impact on play. The aforementioned damage towards the end of Side two are heavy scrapes and scratches. They create skips that start towards the end of track five and the whole of track 6. Track 5 has about five dull clicks early on in the track, and then playback gets noisier with loud clicks through the last minute of the track. The loud clicks continue throughout the first half of track 6, after which, the track has many skips as well as a couple of rotations of noisy groove wear. In all honesty, the final track is not an enjoyable listen!
The labels include a previous owner's name.
Sleeve: Very Good
The front laminated sleeve (which has has the stereo catalogue number on it), has handling wear but is still in reasonably solid condition with some wrinkling in the laminate. Note the large 'For Display Only' pink stamp on the unlaminated back.... which isn't too bad considering ......it's mainly age discolored! It looks as if this record has had several owners as there are three names written on the sleeve - on the front is written 'Sinclair' (also written on the label) and 'Jill', and 'Barbara' on the back. Please examine all pics closely.
