RARE Rockabilly 45-Eddie Cochran Bros-Tired Sleepy-Ekko Description Hi, this is a US stock 45 by the Cochran Brothers (Eddie and Hank), "Tired And Sleepy" b/w "Fools Paradise", released on Ekko Records (3001) in 1956. Killer Rockabilly 45 is in nice VG condition. The "B" side has a scratch that runs the length of the song, but it does not skip. You will, however, here the old pop-pop-pop. And just like my copy of this record and one other that I've heard, "Tired And Sleepy" sounds a lot better than the flip. "Fools Paradise" always sounds muddy to me. It's kind of like those really early Sun Records, I guess... they sound really good on a small hi-fi, but if you play then on a modern turntable, you can hear every hiss and crackle. The labels are very clean, by the way -- no stickers or writing, and just a little bit of rubbing wear. Overall, a very decent copy of this rarity.
