Description

RARE ROLLING STONES VERY FIRST  DEMO. VINYL SINGLE

A piece of rock history, an original  1923 demonstration  Decca label F-11675 vinyl single pressing of the Rolling Stones, believed to have ben recoded at the Olympic Studios in Barnes London in May 1963.

Side One –‘ Come On’

Side 2- ‘ I want To Be Loved’

‘Come On’ was written by Chuck Berry one of the Bands  early influences , this was the their5 first single which made  No 21 in the July 1963 UK Chart.

The record is in a Decca Sleeve and  comes  mounted on a black felt  backboard. It was  in a glass frame which is NOT included in this auction   as it will be impossible to post without the risk of breakage . ( if you collect in person I am happy to give the frame.)

With time the record has become scratched and was played last week after many decades on a Technics 12 10 with different Stylus Needle weights , it  crackles but  did not jump but could probably benefit from a good clean? The labels are unmarked, please see photographs.

Free delivery is for Standard Delivery (Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For) UK only elsewhere by prior agreement.

PayPal only please or cash on collection.
