This auction is for a very rare mono 1st pressing of the Rolling Stones' LP 'Let It Bleed'.
In 1969 mono was pretty much a dead audio format. Let It Bleed was the last Rolling Stones LP to be released in both formats and only sold a very small amount before it was deleted from the Decca catalogues. Only a tiny fraction of 1st presses were in mono before Decca deleted it from their back catalogues and, today, the original mono copies are very hard to find!
Has an original sleeve with the mono/stereo format hole on the back. Sadly no sticker or poster, but does come with its original custom mono inner sleeve.

The cover is looking pretty good for its age but does have some light, general wear and tear. The front cover has a little dirt buildup on the laminate but retains a decent colour as you can see. There's a fair amount of creasing around the edges and corners and the laminate has lifted slightly down the spine edge. Bottom seam is holding fine. Top seam has worn in the middle but has not split. Spine has some creases running through it but has not worn or split. Fully legible. The back cover has some light staining (typical as there was no laminate) and there's some wear along the bottom edge. Also some light disc impression and ring wear and a little extra browning down the mouth edge. Inner Sleeve : POOR
The original custom mono inner sleeve is included. It's pretty worn and torn up with plenty of creases as you can see. Added purely as it's original to the album. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : GOOD+/VG-
The playing surface has a nice shine to it but does have a fair amount of light surface scuffs and marks. Can't really see anything heavy or serious though, just the scuffing. Not too bad, overall.

The labels are clean with bright silver text. There's a fair amount og light spindlewear - a little moreso on the side 2 label, and there's some light wear around the centrehole as you can see. Overall, not too bad. Showing their age.
