    this was sold on dec. 3rd 2007, but the winning bidder explained his computer was highjacked and it was phantom bidding, i checked story and was true! (that day bidder had won over $3,500.00 worth of items, very uncharachteristic of this member)..so due to unrealistic price , i never offered a second chance offer to second high bidder as price was bid up by highjacker...this is the real mccoy from 1957....sun 1225- "dance album of***carl perkins"..yep, this same album was re-packaged by sun in 1961 as "teen beat" which is also rare but this is the first with different cover etc. and is from 1957. extremely rare!  the record plays absolutely great both sides, there is no "sun" hiss or anything, if you listen real hard you can hear some very light pops, visually one side is vg+ the other strong vg, both are shiny with shallow and very light scuffs only. ...this l.p. plays better than many records of much higher visual grade that i've had over the years, it actually plays excellent in my opinion. labels have some small writing as someone checked their favorite cuts before title.... the cover has splits all around, top and bottom complete and the side is 70 percent, these are repairable or can easily be taped. repair is better! that's up to buyer. other aspects of this cover are truly great, as there is no writing and very little wear, plus a nice nostalgic $2.79 price sticker!! (you gotta love it!) ...its on back cover! (i did win "used car salesman of the year" awards!) lol, but seriously folks the cover is nice! ive included lots of photos...funny thing about these covers is that sun records  listed  "all mama's children" on front cover,  but not on the back where the song titles are listed, and the song aint on the record! that's how they made this lp! here are the song titles...blue suede shoes, ..movie magg (45 was released on the flip label), ..sure to fall,... gone, gone, gone....honey dont,..only you (killer version of platters song!)...tennessee,..wrong yo yo,..everybody's trying to be my baby,..matchbox,..your true love,..boppin' the blues,  ...what an album!...git yer chick to cough up the dough and buy it for you! it's christmas coming, aint it?  ..or hannakuh, or buddahpa, whatever works!!...please see the scan(s) below....lots more original sun - 33 rpm lp's,(all are from when sam phillips still owned label) a 10 inch decca lp, + original sun 45's etc.....many sun label, early rock, rockabilly,  teen, doowop  extended play 45's, even a rare northern soul flip on a rare sun garage by "load of mischief " etc... ENDING THIS NIGHT!  NO BOOTS OR REPROS GUARANTEED! ...PLEASE Check out my other items!
