Description
Up for sale is a very RARE 45 by Ricky Nelson. Self titled RICKY from 1957 on Verve Records EPV 5048. It is an extra long play record in Hi-Fi that contains four of his hit singles: A TEENAGER'S DREAM, WALKIN'. YOU'RE MY ONE AND ONLY and HONEY ROCK. The hard, cardboard picture sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. I would dare say the pictures on the front and back are truly Near Mint as they have only the slightest bit of surface wear and are very vivid and BEAUTIFUL!! However, there is a name lightly written in ink above the record label block, but the majority of the ink has faded over the years. Also, the seams at the top and bottom near the opening are separated from use. (It is very difficult to get the record out of this type of sleeve, which was the demise of many picture sleeves) I have highlighted this defect in the photographs! The record is Good+ to Very Good. It has some scuff marks from storage, but NO MAJOR SCRATCHES!! I have no way of testing it on a record player, therefore I cannot grade it by the sound. This would be a wonderful addition to any die hard collector's inventory!!! This is an older, used, vintage item and will have signs of age/storage/transportation wear and soiling.
