Olivia Ruedi-Nicolau (Piano)
Debussy
Suite Bergamasque // L'Isle Joyeuse // Images // Pour le Piano
Of Romanian origin, she has won several unanimous awards in her country. She then traveled and played as a soloist in France, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, India... She has made numerous radio and television broadcasts.
Olivia Ruedi-Nicolau, of French training and spirit, has chosen for this record characteristic works of the impressionist Claude Debussy, written between 1890 and 1905.
Probably her one and only work recorded in her career on wax, she demonstrates formidable talent and extraordinary dexterity with a fluidity associated to a strange magic in her playing rarely heard elsewhere!
