Description



Excellent, guaranteed original, 1960s Illinois Private-Pressing Folk/Psych LP by ALL IN ONE entitled "All In One" on KPS Records (#9360, Stereo). Superb Psych-influenced Folk album out of Illinois on the private KPS label. Low-key nocturnal folk/folk rock with excellent female vocal harmonies, stand-up bass, occasional congas and understated drumming. Partly in a late folk-boom "Simon & Garfunkel"-type mood, but also with appealing CA psych moves on tracks like "Errant In A Time," and the great "Days Of My Life," which has moody modal chords and atmospheric bells. Not a hippie scene, more like serious young ladies contemplating the world from a college dorm room. Too square for true greatness - but worth checking out for folk and/or femme vox fans. Seldom seen item with non-descript orange front cover and band pic on back. I really wouldn't mind keeping this album as it's doubtful I'll ever see another one. The record is absolutely worth it. Condition: Cover = solid VG (light wear, no seam splits), Record = solid VG- (lots of light paper scuffs - plays through fine though!, there is a slight edge warp (see the picture), but it plays through fine on my average (not high-end) record player.
