This is a Doubleback original UK Vinyl LP double album by Procol Harum - A whiter Shade of Pale / A Salty Dog On Fly Records ref TOOFA 7 They didnt do many of these but they were nice little packages. You have the original front and back artwork from both albums by Prcol Harum back to back (and upside down) in a special edition Gatefold Sleeve. You probably dont need any more Procol Harum than whats on this double set - very nice Matrices are A1/B1 and A1/B1 so the first issue of its kind The 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' record is an EX+ ...conservatively, you really have to look hard to see even the lightest of surface hairlines. Labels are clean as a whistle other than tiny tiny spindlewear marks .... I'd say its been played once at the most. Vinyl is nice and heavy and has retained all its glossy sheen. Inner sleeve is an EX , plain white The 'A Salty Dog'album I dont think has been played - Near Mint - I can see no issues. I use the Record Collector Grading Criteria which is as follows: Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
