Description
This auction is for a RARE PRESTIGE RECORDS DIZZY GILLESPIE 'IN THE BEGINNING' 2 LP TEST PRESSING RECORD SET (see pics). Songs on these test pressings were originally recorded between 1945 and 1950. These Prestige remasters are dated 9/17, 1973.
Note: Prestige Records was a jazz record label founded in 1949 by Bob Weinstock. The company recorded hundreds of albums by many of the leading jazz musicians of the day, sometimes issuing them under the names of several subsidiaries. The company was sold to Fantasy in 1971, which was later absorbed by Concord.

There are no scratches. Vinyl looks like excellent. No worpage. Both played crisp and clear (minor pops and snaps/mostly quiet).
Please note that there are no covers (just sleeves). Being test pressings, they likely never had covers.
TEST PRESSINGS/pre-productions are typically made in very small quantities (10 or less) and are very rare.
*All items ship via USPS (United States Postal Service). Seller ships six days per week and orders are usually shipped out in less than 24 hours. Seller ships via Priority, Parcel Post or 1st class, depending on weight and value of item/items being shipped (whatever is most sensible).
*Tracking is included for free on Priority and Standard ground shipping. First Class and Media mail do not include tracking. Other shipping options will be added at the buyers request and cost.
*RETURNS: Seller is honest so returns should not be an issue. However, if there is an issue with an item purchased, seller will of coarse work to correct the problem.
